Turkey Sammies

Super Sammies!! Fixing up something delicious, quick, and easy are always at the top of our cook book. These scrumptious bite-size sandwiches can be made for snacks, a meal or prepared on a Sunday to last throughout the week and not many ingredients are required. These items are normally pick up at the grocery store or have lying around in the cabinet. Directions: Preheat oven to 350 ° Take both loafs of Hawaiian bread and cut it in half length wise, separating the top half from the bottom. Place the bottom of the loaf at the bottom of the pan. In a saucepan, melt 2 sticks of butter, 1/3 tsp of onion flakes, 4 tsp of Worcestershire sauce, 5-6 tbsp Dijon mustard, about 2 tbsp of poppy seeds and let it simmer for a few minutes. The sauce will be done when the onions are soft. Spoon the butter sauce over the bottom layer of the Hawaiian bread until it’s completely coated. Once the sauce has been added, add a layer of turkey (or even ham, if that fancies you) and then add a layer of cheese across the top of the turkey meat. Place the top half of the Hawaiian bread on top. Spread the remaining butter sauce to coat the top layer of the bread. Sprinkle more poppy seeds if you’d like. Cover the pan loosely with aluminum foil and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Remove foil after 20 minutes and bake uncovered for 5-10 more minutes. Delicious! Our cooking team shared these little puppies and was a hit! If you can’t control devouring them, then we won’t judge.     Ingredients: 2 Hawaiian Bread Loafs Poppy Seeds 2 sticks of butter 4 Tsp.
